Mike is a qualified guide for the City of London and the City of Westminster. He is offering two walks for Love River.
Cost: £5 a head for September only. (Was £7)
How to book: Contact Mike in advance. Pay on the day. (You may book these two walks at other times if you have a group of six or more)
Walk 1: Between Two Bridges
A walk between London Bridge and Tower Bridge showing how father Thames influenced the history of the City of London. There are impressive riverside views and we will be passing the churches of St Magnus the Martyr, St Dunstan in the East and All Hallows by the Tower. We will hear about the Tower of London and see the execution place on Tower Hill.

Walk 2: A Street by a River
This walk explores the area between the south side of the Stand and the Thames. We will see how the river has been pushed back in the 19th Century. Churches and palaces, history and literature, opera and musicals, its all on this short walk along one of the most interesting sections of the river Thames. This walk does involve a number of steps.
When: Saturday 25 September 2010, 10.30am
Duration: About 2 hours
Start: Embankment Tube Station river entrance
Finish: Near to Temple station
